Traditionally the Irish Pub should be an extension of the Publican’s (The keeper of a public house or tavern) personality. The result is usually an eclectic mix of bric a brac gathered over a long period of time with personal meaning to the establishment and not just for design purposes. In Josie Kellys we honor this tradition with pictures of family, places we have visited, family heirlooms and artifacts brought over from Ireland. We have achieved our goal of a cozy yet mismatched environment. We like to say it’s like sitting in your nana’s living room.
The Irish food and beverage industry has changed. It’s no longer limited to meat, potatoes and pints of beer. Currently it’s producing some of the most exciting chefs and mixologists in the world.
